Ok, so here we go!
I made this about 6 months ago, but am just getting around to posting it! :) To make this shirt, you will need:
~ A plain t-shirt (any color)
~ Scissors
~ Lace
~ Pins
~ Sewing machine
~Thats it!
On to the tutorial….
Take your shirt...
And lay your lace on top of it…. mine was about 3" wide but you can adjust this. :)
On the bottom of the shirt, fold it under and cut, leaving an inch under the shirt….
See??? Now pin your lace in place on the shirt...
Follow the pic to make sure you have it correct. We are not going to worry about the top just yet. :)
Take your sewing machine and using your ZIG ZAG stitch, run across the bottom. Make sure you only do the FRONT of the shirt, otherwise you will have sewn your shirt together. :)
Just like this>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Now sew along both sides, attaching the lace…..
Once again, Make sure you only sew the lace to the front of the shirt!!!! Not the front and back...
Now on to the neckline of the shirt….
Trace around the neckline and cut around it...
using your straight stitch… or zig zag… sew around the neckline… only sewing the lace o the front of the shirt. :)
And there you have it!!!!!! Isn't it beautiful?!
